FAQ
Before your first class
What should I bring to Pilates class?
A towel, grippy socks and a water bottle. Mats are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own for mat classes, and there is a fountain in the studio to fill your bottle.
Do I need experience to start?
No. Mat and Reformer classes are scaled in the room, and a private session is often the easiest first step if you are brand new or working around an injury.
What does full apparatus mean?
The studio is equipped with Reformer, Cadillac and Tower, Chair, Barrels and Ladder, plus mat work. You learn the complete Pilates system rather than one piece of it.
How large are the classes?
Classes are small group by design, so instruction stays individual. Private and semi-private sessions are available when you want the whole hour to yourself.
What is the cancellation policy?
Private lessons and group classes must be cancelled a full 24 hours in advance to be rescheduled. Inside 24 hours, the full cost of the session is forfeited. The policies are included in the liability waiver you sign before your first class.
Do you offer refunds?
Pilates Port Charlotte does not offer refunds, and payment is made in advance to secure a booking. Please read the policies before purchasing a package.
